Job Description

Experience:
Senior Level Salary:
$150,000 - $200,000 per year Job Details -
Responsibilities:
1. Diagnose and treat a variety of animals, including pets and livestock, with a range of medical conditions and diseases. 2. Perform routine procedures such as vaccinations, neutering, and spaying, as well as complex surgeries. 3. Respond to emergency and urgent care cases effectively and efficiently. 4. Provide general practice care, including routine check-ups, preventative care, and health advice to pet owners. 5. Develop and maintain strong relationships with pet owners, providing clear communication and education about their pet's health. 6. Collaborate with veterinary assistants and other medical staff to provide top-notch care to patients. 7. Keep accurate and detailed medical records, ensuring all treatments and procedures are documented. 8. Stay up-to-date with advancements in veterinary medicine and integrate new treatment methods into practice.
Qualifications:
1. Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution. 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing veterinarian, with a focus on general practice, urgent care, or emergency care. 3. Valid and active license to practice veterinary medicine. 4. Proven surgical skills and experience with a variety of medical conditions and diseases. 5. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate with pet owners and team members. 6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound medical decisions in high-stress situations. 7. Compassionate and empathetic approach to animal care. 8. Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of our clients and patients.
