JOB DESCRIPTIONNENN
is seeking a full-time dedicated, skilled, and forward-thinking Associate Veterinarian with a primary focus on equine and farm animal care. This role is ideal for a DVM who thrives in a collaborative, mobile practice, values high standards of care, and is passionate about animal wellness. As a key member of our ambulatory team, you'll deliver care ranging from lameness evaluations and diagnostics to rehabilitation services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform ambulatory visits for diagnostics, treatment, wellness, and rehabilitation Evaluate performance horses and address lameness or musculoskeletal concerns Educate clients on care, nutrition, and rehabilitation protocols Collaborate with DVMs, trainers, farriers, and owners for integrated care Participate in rotating on-call emergency services
KEY COMPETENCIES
Proven experience with performance horses and lameness evaluations Familiarity with modern diagnostic and rehab equipment Strong communication and client education skills Comfortable with travel and mobile care delivery Positive, team-focused, and solution-oriented
QUALIFICATIONS
DVM or equivalent veterinary degree Licensed (or eligible) to practice in the U.S. Equine internship or 5+ years equine experience preferred Skilled in ultrasound, digital radiography, and/or MRI Valid driver's license Able to lift 50 lbs, squat, and travel between client sites (pre-employment physical assessment)
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
