Seeking a compassionate associate veterinarian (experienced or recent graduate) to join our team! You will be able to practice high quality progressive medicine in our growing, and well equipped veterinarian-owned private small animal practice. We believe in offering individualized and modern medicine. More importantly, we are always open to and encourage the exchange of new ideas. The cases you will manage will range from wellness and preventative care to internal medicine, and urgent care ill pets. surgery is NOT required. Our experienced support team is very friendly, supportive, and tight-knit. We are in very close proximity to the local ER clinic for overnight patient monitoring. We work together on difficult cases to create the best plan for our patients/clients. We have a very open communication style and maintain a drama free environment. Suisun city is located in northern CA, with a reasonable cost of living. This area offers many outdoor activities, wine tasting and art 25 min away in Napa, a 35 min drive to Berkeley/San Francisco, while still having access to a beach within an hour, and the Sierras/Lake Tahoe 2.5 hours away, as options to keep you entertained on your days off. We are seeking a Wednesday , Thursday, Saturday, and ideally Sunday. 3-4 day schedule coverage workweek and days can be discussed Work hours are 9-6 pm Wednesday and Thursday with a 1.5 hour mid day break to catch up on records, phone calls, etc. Weekend days are 9-5 with 1.5 hr break mid day Staff will always ask if you can see an urgent care appt prior to scheduling. No double booking. We are open 7 days a week. We have nurse appts at the same time as DVM appts, and our nurses are very competent and devoted they also help write up records with what owner approved/declined We strongly believe in offering a good work/life balance so that we continue to enjoy what we do for many years to come. Competitive salary $150,000-220,000 based on experience level, as well as benefits. For 3-4 shifts a week Willing to consider relocation assistance as well.
