This is a rare opportunity to practice medicine the way it was meant to be — without the chaos of a busy clinic, with time to truly connect with each patient and family. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive wellness exams, diagnostics, and treatment plans in a mobile setting across Ventura and Los Angeles Counties Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions including dermatology, internal medicine, and pain management Conduct end-of-life consultations and in-home euthanasia with empathy and professionalism Collaborate with the Vets ASAP team on case management, referrals, and follow-up care Maintain accurate and thorough medical records using our cloud-based practice management software Build lasting relationships with clients through clear communication and education Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) from an AVMA-accredited institution Active California veterinary license (or ability to obtain prior to start date) Valid California driver's license and clean driving record 1+ years of clinical experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical skills are encouraged to apply Proficiency in performing diagnostics including blood work, urinalysis, cytology, and digital radiography Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to connect with clients during emotional situations What We Offer✓Competitive salary commensurate with experience✓Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits✓Paid time off and continuing education allowance✓Malpractice/liability insurance coverage✓Fully equipped mobile unit — no personal vehicle required✓Flexible scheduling with work-life balance as a core value✓Mentorship from experienced veterinarians✓A supportive, mission-driven team culture
