Pathway to ownership for Associate Veterinarian !
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate small animal Veterinarian to join our team. We are a modern clinic in Tustin, California!!! Independently and locally owned!
Compensation:
Veterinarians will have a guaranteed base and a production bonus. Associate veterinarians can earn up to $230,000. For new graduates this may be closer to $170,000 with production bonus.
Mentorship:
We offer a new graduates a mentorship program where you are assigned to two experienced DVMs. Our mentorship program has worked well for past junior doctors and we prepare you for success. We are a collaborative team!

Practice:
This forward-thinking general practice serves dogs and cats with a wide variety of services from preventive wellness to orthopedic surgeries and integrative therapies. Pets receive care using the latest technology, including therapy and advanced ultrasound, alongside routine medical and dental care. The team is collaborative and includes a supportive group of technicians trained in anesthesia, dentistry, and surgical assistance. A visiting mobile orthopedic surgeon adds to the range of procedures available. The hospital is outfitted with full-body and dental digital radiography, an ultrasound system, therapy equipment, and a brand new Idexx lab.

The Veterinarian will work closely with pet owners to educate them about their animals' health needs and preventive care. Responsibilities Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health status. Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions in pets and other animals. Perform surgical procedures as necessary, ensuring the highest standards of care. Administer vaccinations and medications as prescribed. Maintain accurate medical records for each animal treated. Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient clinic operations. Educate pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and preventive health measures. Stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine and participate in continuing education opportunities. Requirements Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school. Valid California veterinary license to practice. Strong knowledge of canine and feline veterinary medicine Familiarity with laboratory procedures related to veterinary medicine. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and staff. Compassionate approach towards animals and their owners Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
