Job Description

MarQueen Veterinary ER and Specialty Group in Upland, California, is seeking a dedicated Small Animal Internal Medicine Specialist to join our premier Upland crew. We are a highly collaborative ER and specialty hospital with strong, seasoned ER doctors and specialists. Our hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic and endoscopic capabilities. Our technicians are a cohesive, highly trained crew who enjoy and take pride in the excellent, transparent care MarQueen provides. Our internal medicine technicians are phenomenal!! We value your time off to enjoy the hard work you put in, which is as follows: Three days a week in the hospital. Three to four new cases a day with three to four rechecks. Perform ultrasounds for ER and IM, as needed. That is it. Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD). Active, unrestricted veterinary licensure in the state of California. Board certification as a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM) in Small Animal Internal Medicine. Proficiency in advanced diagnostic and minimally invasive interventional procedures (endoscopy, colonoscopy, rhinoscopy, ultrasound-guided biopsies). Exceptional communication skills to partner with referring veterinarians, clients, and colleagues. Perform ultrasounds for IM and ER cases, as needed. All our internists can perform ultrasounds and will help teach and travel for CE courses with you, if needed.
