Hess Ridge Animal Hospital is a privately owned, veterinarian-owned companion animal practice seeking an experienced veterinarian who wants to practice high-quality medicine today while having the opportunity to grow into future leadership roles as our practice continues to expand. Since opening in 2024, Hess Ridge Animal Hospital has grown into a thriving multi-doctor practice by focusing on exceptional patient care, outstanding client service, and building a workplace where veterinarians genuinely enjoy coming to work. We believe great medicine, great culture, and sustainable growth can exist without corporate ownership. As we continue to grow and evaluate future opportunities in the Aurora, South Metro Denver, and Parker area, we are looking for veterinarians who are excited by the possibility of increased leadership responsibilities and helping shape the future of a growing organization. While this position is first and foremost an Associate Veterinarian role, significant leadership opportunities may become available in the very near future. Depending on experience, interests, and organizational growth, those opportunities could include mentoring doctors and staff, helping guide hospital operations, serving in a Medical Director capacity, and potentially helping lead future hospital initiatives. As a privately owned hospital, our veterinarians have a meaningful voice in how the practice operates. Ideas are heard, decisions can be made quickly, and doctors have the opportunity to influence patient care standards, hospital processes, equipment purchases, service offerings, and the future direction of the practice. For veterinarians interested in leadership, this provides a unique opportunity to gain real-world experience helping shape a hospital's culture, operations, and growth rather than simply carrying out decisions made by a distant corporate office. We believe future leaders should have a seat at the table, and the right candidate will have opportunities to contribute beyond the exam room as our organization continues to grow. We are happy to discuss our long-term vision, growth plans, and potential leadership pathways with interested candidates during the interview process. What We Offer Four-day work week No weekends No after-hours emergencies Production-based compensation with no negative accrual Privately owned practice with direct access to ownership Strong technician and support staff Modern facility and equipment Opportunities to pursue surgery, dentistry, ultrasound, and special interests CE allowance and professional development support PTO, licensing fees, professional dues, and benefits package A culture built around collaboration, communication, and continuous improvement What We're Looking For DVM or equivalent degree Colorado veterinary license (or ability to obtain) Three or more years of clinical experience preferred Strong medical and communication skills A team-oriented and positive attitude Interest in personal and professional growth A veterinarian who wants to help shape the future of a growing organization This opportunity is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys practicing medicine but also wants the possibility of greater influence, leadership, and professional growth than is typically available in traditional associate positions. If you're interested in joining a successful veterinarian-owned practice and would like to learn more about where we are headed, we'd love to start a conversation. Not actively looking for a new position? That's perfectly okay. We understand that many of the best opportunities begin with a simple conversation. Reaching out does not imply any commitment from either side, and we are always happy to connect with experienced veterinarians who are interested in learning more about our practice, our vision, and potential future opportunities.
