Job Description

Key Responsibilities Examine, diagnose, and treat illnesses and injuries in companion animals, primarily dogs and cats Provide medical, surgical, preventive, and dental care services Administer vaccinations and educate clients on wellness and preventive care Collaborate with veterinary colleagues and referring veterinarians to ensure continuity of care Partner with hospital leadership to maintain high standards of patient care and hospital operations Maintain accurate medical records and treatment plans Participate in continuing education, training, and professional development opportunities Contribute to a positive and collaborative workplace culture Effectively prioritize tasks and manage responsibilities in a fast-paced clinical environment Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited institution Minimum of 2 years of veterinary experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply Internship training preferred, but not required Eligible to obtain a Connecticut State Veterinary License Strong communication, teamwork, and client service skills Commitment to compassionate, high-quality veterinary care What This Opportunity Offers Modern, state-of-the-art veterinary facility with advanced technology Collaborative and supportive clinical team environment Access to continuing education, training resources, and professional development opportunities Strong mentorship and growth potential for both experienced veterinarians and recent graduates Healthy work-life balance and employee wellness support
