An established and highly regarded small animal practice in central Connecticut is seeking a compassionate and motivated Associate Veterinarian to join its supportive team. Both full-time and part-time schedules are available. Key Responsibilities Build strong relationships with clients and provide outstanding patient care. Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each pet's needs. Minimize patient stress and promote low-stress handling techniques. Stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine, treatments, and technology. Collaborate closely with veterinarians and support staff to ensure exceptional service. Mentor and support team development. Treat every patient with the same care and attention as if they were your own. Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an AVMA-accredited institution. Proficiency in general medicine and surgery. Active state veterinary license or ability to obtain one. Current DEA license or ability to obtain upon hire. USDA accreditation or ability to obtain upon hire. Compensation & Benefits Compensation is tailored to the individual candidate based on experience, schedule, and qualifications.
