Full-Time Associate Veterinarian Compensation:
Competitive salary, based on experience
Schedule:
Flexible scheduling options available, including a 4- or 5-day workweek, rotating half-day Saturdays, and one designated surgery day per week. The Opportunity Padfoot Veterinary Practice is seeking a compassionate, collaborative, and experienced Associate Veterinarian to join our growing team. We are looking for a veterinarian who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can effectively manage multiple patients and client interactions throughout the day, and enjoys contributing to a positive and collaborative workplace. Key Responsibilities Perform wellness, sick, and preventive care examinations Develop and implement diagnostic and treatment plans Interpret laboratory results and diagnostic imaging Educate and communicate with clients regarding patient care Perform routine surgical procedures, including: Spays and neuters Dental procedures Mass and growth removals Participate in one dedicated surgery day per week Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to team members Collaborate with colleagues to continually improve patient care standards Candidates with advanced surgical interests or experience are encouraged to apply, as we are actively looking to expand our surgical capabilities and services. About Us Padfoot Veterinary Practice is a privately owned small-animal hospital serving dogs and cats. We are also open to expanding into exotic medicine if a candidate has interest and experience in that area, and several members of our support team have prior experience working in exotic animal hospitals. Our standard appointment length is 30 minutes, allowing veterinarians the time needed to build relationships and provide thorough care. We also accommodate same-day urgent care appointments whenever possible. For cases requiring advanced emergency or specialty care, we work closely with local referral hospitals. Practice Overview 25-30 total appointments per day Approximately 14-18 appointments per veterinarian daily Digital radiography In-house laboratory Fully utilized veterinary technicians Approximately 2.5 support staff members per doctor Our Culture We believe our culture is one of our greatest strengths. Medical discussions, case reviews, and updates to standards of care are encouraged, and every team member's voice matters. We typically hold staff meetings monthly, or at minimum every other month, to ensure everyone stays informed and involved. Pay:
$120,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
