Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic veterinary team as a Veterinarian, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional animal care and medical services. Responsibilities Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions in animals, utilizing veterinary terminology and animal physiology knowledge. Perform animal restraint, handling, and husbandry procedures to ensure safety and comfort during examinations and treatments. Conduct veterinary critical care procedures, including animal catheterization, aseptic techniques, and laboratory testing. Assist with pet grooming, animal care routines, and basic animal anatomy assessments to support overall health. Educate pet owners on pet care best practices, including nutrition, behavior, and preventive health measures. Maintain accurate medical records, update treatment plans, and communicate effectively with clients regarding their pets' health status. Support emergency response efforts by applying veterinary critical care skills during urgent situations involving animals in distress or injury. Experience Proven veterinary experience with a strong foundation in animal handling, anatomy, physiology, and veterinary terminology. Prior experience in veterinary critical care settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with laboratory procedures, aseptic techniques, and pet grooming is preferred. Experience working with various species including dogs and horses; equine experience is a plus. Demonstrated ability to perform animal restraint safely and effectively across different breeds and sizes. Strong understanding of animal husbandry practices and pet care essentials to promote optimal health outcomes. Excellent communication skills for educating pet owners and collaborating with team members to deliver comprehensive care.
