Our doctors are supported by a young, energetic team of veterinary technicians who we utilize for anything and everything.Position Purpose:

Walton County Animal Clinic is a long-standing small animal practice in DeFuniak Springs, Florida, serving the community for nearly 40 years. We're looking for a Managing DVM who wants to lead with integrity, stay hands-on clinically, and help guide a respected practice into its next chapter—without losing the culture that makes it special. Provide high-quality medical care to small animal patients Perform surgeries and dental procedures Interpret diagnostics and develop treatment plans Mentor associate veterinarians and medical staff Help guide medical standards and daily clinic operations Build strong client relationships Maintain accurate medical records and ensure complianceRequirements/Qualifications:
DVM or equivalent degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school Active Florida veterinary license (or ability to obtain) DEA license eligibility VET that has experience in small animal general practice Comfortable in a leadership role while remaining clinically active Ability to lift 25+ lbs (assistance available for larger patients)Benefits Offered:
