ER Veterinarian | Part-time or Full-time in Covington, GA

We're looking for a full-time or part-time Emergency Veterinarian who is ready to jump in, make an impact, and be part of a team that truly cares. About Us:

Since 2007, East Metro Animal Emergency Clinic has proudly cared for pets in Covington and surrounding communities. As a walk-in, after-hours hospital, we're here nights (6pm-7am), weekends (24 hours), and holidays to provide trusted, compassionate care when pets need it most. Our hospital is equipped with modern, state-of-the-art tools, including ultrasound, digital radiography, an in-house lab, and advanced diagnostics, allowing you to provide the highest level of care in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Responsibilities:

As a veterinarian on our team, you will: Provide emergency and critical care to patients in need Perform exams, diagnostics, surgeries, and treatments Collaborate with technicians and support staff to ensure the well-being of animals Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment Maintain accurate medical records for all patients

Qualifications & Skills:

DVM/VMD degree from an accredited veterinary program Licensed or eligible for licensure in Georgia Comfortable performing surgical procedures related to emergency medicine Team-centered attitude, encouraging collaboration and supporting colleagues Willing to work overnight, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
