Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Veterinarian to join our newly renovated veterinary department. This is an exciting position that offers flexible hours and competitive salary (commensurate with experience). We are a small practice that is excited to add an additional veterinarian to our team. This is a perfect opportunity for a new graduate or someone who is looking for more flexibility with their schedule. Responsibilities Conduct thorough physical examinations and diagnose medical conditions using veterinary terminology and clinical skills. Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each animal's needs, including medication administration, surgeries, and follow-up care. Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques and animal husbandry practices to ensure safety for both animals and staff. Maintain detailed medical records and ensure compliance with veterinary protocols and safety standards. Client education Qualifications Veterinary degree from an accredited institution with valid licensure to practice veterinary medicine. Proven veterinary experience with a strong background in animal handling, restraint, and husbandry. Experience in veterinary critical care is highly desirable; familiarity with laboratory procedures is a plus. Knowledge of animal physiology, anatomy, veterinary terminology, and aseptic techniques.
