In this role, you will provide high-quality medical care to a diverse range of animals, ensuring their health, comfort, and well-being. You will work closely with pet owners to develop treatment plans, perform examinations, diagnose conditions, and deliver compassionate care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your veterinary expertise in a supportive environment committed to excellence and animal welfare. Responsibilities Conduct thorough physical examinations of animals to assess health status and identify medical issues Diagnose illnesses and injuries using veterinary terminology and clinical knowledge of animal physiology and anatomy Perform surgical procedures, including animal restraint, catheterization, and aseptic techniques, ensuring safety and precision Administer vaccinations, medications, and treatments tailored to each pet's needs Assist in laboratory testing and interpret results to inform treatment plans Educate pet owners on animal husbandry, pet grooming, nutrition, and preventive care strategies Handle animals with care, demonstrating expertise in animal handling techniques for dogs, cats, and other species Maintain detailed medical records following veterinary standards and ensure compliance with all safety protocols Qualifications Veterinary degree from an accredited institution with valid licensure to practice in the relevant region Proven veterinary experience with a focus on critical care is highly desirable Strong animal restraint skills and proficiency in animal husbandry practices Knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal physiology, and anatomy Experience with pet grooming, laboratory procedures, and aseptic techniques is preferred Ability to handle a variety of animals including dogs and horses with confidence and compassion Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and pet owners Prior experience in emergency or critical care settings is a plus Join us in making a difference in the lives of animals and their owners!
