Duties Examine animals thoroughly, utilizing animal anatomy knowledge and veterinary terminology to diagnose health issues accurately Perform routine procedures such as vaccinations, pet grooming, and animal restraint to ensure safe and effective treatments Assist with complex medical cases requiring veterinary critical care experience, including emergency interventions and laboratory diagnostics Conduct animal husbandry tasks including feeding, grooming, and maintaining a clean environment for optimal pet health Handle animal catheterization, aseptic techniques, and laboratory sample collection with precision and care Educate pet owners on animal care, pet grooming, nutrition, and preventive health strategies Support pet care through compassionate handling of dogs and other small animals during examinations or procedures Qualifications Proven veterinary experience with a focus on small animals; additional equine experience is a plus but not required Strong animal restraint and handling skills to ensure safety for both pets and staff Knowledge of veterinary critical care practices and laboratory procedures Familiarity with veterinary terminology, animal physiology, and anatomy to support accurate diagnosis and treatment plans Experience in animal catheterization, aseptic technique, and pet grooming techniques preferred Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills for educating pet owners and collaborating with team members Join us in delivering top-tier veterinary services with energy and dedication!
