Veterinarian Small Animal Practice | Elgin, Illinois Base salary up $140,000 + sign on bonus This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced DVM or a recent graduate seeking strong mentorship, a supportive environment, and genuine work-life balance within a friendly community-focused hospital. The Clinic This long-standing companion animal practice has been serving its local community for over 20 years and has built a loyal client base alongside a highly experienced support team, many of whom have been with the practice for more than a decade. The hospital currently operates as a collaborative multi-doctor practice with a relaxed and positive working atmosphere, even during busier periods. Clinical interests within the team include internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, and dentistry, with opportunities for incoming veterinarians to pursue and develop their own areas of interest. The caseload primarily consists of dogs and cats, though veterinarians with an interest in exotics would also be supported. The practice is additionally involved with local rescue and shelter partnerships, offering opportunities for those interested in community and shelter medicine. The clinic is also preparing for future expansion and development, making this an exciting time to join and contribute to the future direction of the hospital.
