Duties Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health status and diagnose medical conditions Perform surgical procedures, including spaying, neutering, and emergency interventions with precision and care Administer vaccinations, medications, and treatments tailored to individual animal needs Handle animal restraint safely and effectively during examinations and procedures to ensure safety for both animals and staff Provide pet grooming, animal husbandry, and basic animal care to promote overall well-being Utilize veterinary terminology accurately when documenting cases and communicating with team members Apply aseptic techniques during surgeries and laboratory procedures to prevent infections Assist in laboratory testing, including sample collection and analysis related to animal physiology and anatomy Manage pet catheterization procedures and ensure proper animal handling during complex treatments Educate pet owners on animal care, nutrition, behavior, and post-treatment instructions Skills Proven veterinary critical care experience with the ability to respond swiftly in emergency situations Strong animal handling skills across various species, including dogs, cats, and equines Extensive knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and veterinary terminology to inform treatment plans Skilled in animal restraint techniques for safe examination and procedures Experience with laboratory work related to veterinary diagnostics and testing processes Ability to perform pet grooming and basic animal husbandry tasks effectively Familiarity with pet care best practices, including pet grooming standards and health maintenance routines Competence in performing animal catheterization with precision in aseptic environments Excellent communication skills for explaining medical conditions clearly to pet owners Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of animal care Join us as a Veterinarian where your passion for animals meets your professional expertise! Pay:
$115,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
