Atlas has partnered with a long-standing, highly regarded, privately-owned small animal hospital on the north side of Indianapolis, they are searching for an Associate Veterinarian to join their dynamic and experienced team. Serving a diverse, loyal client base, the hospital is known for its progressive medicine, advanced diagnostics, and vibrant workplace culture. With a collaborative team approach, state-of-the-art facilities including ultrasound, endoscopy, laparoscopy, and a 5.5:1 staff-to-doctor ratio, you'll be empowered to practice exceptional medicine while focusing on what you love—case management, surgery and high-level dentistry. The clinic runs 13 modern exam rooms, including a feline-only space, and is staffed by highly trained technicians and assistants, allowing doctors to focus on clinical work, not technical tasks. General Practice & Advanced Care:
you'll focus on internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, and advanced dentistry Modern Facility including 13 contemporary exam rooms (including feline-only space), two treatment rooms, dedicated surgery suite, dental area, digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, and laparoscopy & so much more! Four-day workweek with rotating shifts and semi-set schedules Each DVM supported by two assistants, 12 registered technicians, receptionists, and ward assistants; nurses are on hand to help with hospitalized patients. Enjoy case collaboration, mentoring, and weekly staff meetings focused on communication and clinical growth AAHA-accredited; Low Stress Handling Certified. Board-certified and board-eligible team members, remote radiology consults available Comprehensive onboarding with an 8-12 week structured training, including direct mentorship from senior veterinarians. Opportunities for training in advanced dental and surgical procedures, with a strong philosophy of staff investment and professional development. Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree Hold an Indiana State License or have the ability to obtain one At least 3-4 years' experience in small animal practice Experience in fast-paced or ER background is desirable Passionate about progressive, high-quality medicine Comfortable or eager to further develop skills in surgery and dentistry. Highly motivated, detail-oriented, with excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to outstanding client communication Thrives in both busy caseloads and in-depth case management Values collaboration and continual professional growthBenefits:
