POSITION OVERVIEW
Oversee a state-of-the-art veterinary facility in the Boston area Work alongside veterinarians and additional hospital staff members Provide full-time veterinary care in a private practice setting Support growth of the veterinary team as the facility expands Opportunity to grow into a Director of Operations role managing multiple facilities Facility is expected to eventually open 7 days per week ROLE Examine and diagnose diseases and injuries of pets, primarily dogs and cats Treat patients surgically and medically Collaborate within the veterinary ecosystem and communicate with referring veterinarians Participate in ongoing education, seminars, and training Work with the Regional Operations Manager and Hospital Manager to maintain high standards of care Administer core vaccinations and counsel clients on well-pet care Perform dentals Contribute to an enjoyable workplace for staff, clients, and pets Manage time, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent degree from an accredited institution
REQUIRED
5+ years of veterinarian experience working in a veterinary hospital
REQUIRED
Eligible to obtain Massachusetts State Veterinary License
REQUIRED
Experience examining, diagnosing, and treating pets surgically or medically
REQUIRED
Experience performing dentals
REQUIRED
Experience administering core vaccinations and counseling clients in well-pet care
REQUIRED
Ability to work onsite in the Boston area
REQUIRED
Preferred / Helpful Background Senior veterinarian experience Experience working with hospital leadership or operations leadership Experience helping grow or support a veterinary team Interest in growth toward Director of Operations responsibilities
