American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Veterinary License Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Veterinary Doctor to provide medical, surgical, and preventive care for small animals. The veterinarian will diagnose and treat patients, perform surgeries, interpret diagnostics, and educate clients on health, nutrition, and preventive care.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct routine wellness exams and vaccinations Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions Perform surgical procedures including spays, neuters, and dentals Interpret laboratory tests, radiographs, and other diagnostics Develop treatment plans and communicate options to clients Prescribe and administer medications and therapies Maintain accurate medical records Educate clients on pet care, nutrition, and behavior Collaborate with veterinary team for high-quality patient care
Qualifications:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree Valid veterinary license in the state of practice Strong clinical skills in small animal medicine and surgery Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and in a team Experience with electronic medical records preferred
Pay:
$85.00 - $95.00 per hour
