Job Description

Position Type:
Full-Time Schedule:
3 shifts per week (1012 hours each), including 1 block of 3 nights per month; additional overnight shifts optional and compensated at higher rates. Company Overview A veterinarian-owned and led emergency and specialty veterinary organization is expanding with a new state-of-the-art hospital in the Newton, MA area. This new facility will provide advanced 24/7 emergency and multi-specialty care in a collaborative, high-acuity clinical environment. Why Join This Hospital Work in a newly built, advanced emergency and multi-specialty veterinary hospital Access to modern diagnostic and treatment equipment designed for high-quality critical care High-volume caseload, treating a large number of emergency and critical patients annually Collaborative environment with experienced emergency clinicians and support staff Opportunity for shareholder/ownership participation in a veterinarian-led organization Competitive compensation package with sign-on bonus, student loan support, and paid parental leave Responsibilities Provide emergency and critical care for companion animals in a fast-paced clinical setting Work closely with veterinary colleagues and technical staff to deliver coordinated patient care Manage emergency cases during day, evening, and overnight rotations as scheduled Maintain high standards of clinical excellence, communication, and patient advocacy Support and mentor team members as appropriate Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) from an accredited institution Active veterinary license in Massachusetts (or eligibility to obtain) Strong interest or experience in emergency and critical care medicine Excellent clinical judgment, communication skills, and teamwork ability
Compensation & Benefits Salary:
$140,000 $220,000 annually
Production Bonus:
2225%
Sign-On Bonus:
