3 Months Off or Mentor the Next Generation This role is for experienced ER doctors who know exactly what they want next. Some want time back without stepping away from emergency medicine. Others want to shape new clinicians and leave the specialty better than they found it. At Apex Vets, you choose your path. Path 1: Restorative ER Track For experienced ER doctors who want time back without leaving emergency medicine. Overnight ER role Work 9 months / take 3 months paid off every year (large chunk or throughout) Full technician support No non-competes Path 2: Mentor-Leader Track For experienced ER doctors who want to teach and shape the next generation. Lead and mentor new ER doctors and develop a structured ER Training Pathway Case reviews, skills development, progressive autonomy Collaborate with board-certified surgeons and anesthesiology What You'll Get (Both Paths) $150K-$240K base + production Full benefits, CE fund, 401(k) match Metro accessible + free parking On-site gym, Peloton, quiet room Supportive, high-functioning ER team Who This Is For Someone calm, confident, team-oriented DVM/VMD (MD license or ability to obtain) ER experience required
