This role offers the opportunity to manage non-emergent but time-sensitive cases in a collaborative environment with access to specialty and emergency support. This position is ideal for veterinarians with general practice or urgent care experience who want to expand their clinical skills while maintaining a balanced and sustainable schedule. Responsibilities Evaluate and manage urgent care cases, including same-day appointments and walk-ins Perform physical exams, diagnostics, and treatment planning Stabilize and treat acute but non-critical conditions Utilize advanced diagnostic tools such as imaging and in-house laboratory equipment Collaborate with specialists and emergency clinicians for comprehensive patient care Communicate clearly with clients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care Maintain accurate medical records and documentation Contribute to a positive and team-oriented hospital culture Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited institution Active or eligible veterinary license Experience in general practice or urgent care preferred Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Interest in collaborative, multi-disciplinary medicine Benefits Competitive salary with production-based earning potential (no negative accrual) Sign-on or welcome bonus opportunities Flexible scheduling options (including reduced workweek options) Health, dental, and vision insurance Employer-supported HSA contributions Retirement plan with employer match Paid time off Continuing education allowance and paid CE days Licensing fees, professional dues, and liability coverage Short
