Administer vaccinations, medications, and treatments with precision and care. Assist with animal restraint and handling to ensure safety for both animals and staff during procedures. Conduct laboratory tests, analyze results, and interpret veterinary terminology to inform treatment plans. Carry out surgical procedures, including animal catheterization and aseptic techniques, adhering to strict safety protocols. Educate pet owners on animal care, nutrition, grooming, and preventive health strategies. Support emergency critical care situations by providing immediate medical attention and collaborating with veterinary specialists when needed. Skills Proven veterinary experience with a strong foundation in animal physiology and anatomy knowledge. Critical care experience in veterinary settings is highly desirable. Skilled in animal restraint, handling, and husbandry techniques to ensure safe procedures. Familiarity with veterinary terminology, laboratory procedures, and aseptic techniques. Experience with pet grooming, pet care education, and animal catheterization procedures. Ability to work effectively with dogs using specialized handling skills such as dog handling techniques. Knowledge of equine care practices is a plus for supporting diverse animal populations.
