The Veterinary Center of Liberty has been serving the Liberty community for 39 years. We have a strong community presence and participate in many philanthropic organizations locally and abroad. Our veterinarians and RVTs volunteer time and support many community organizations, school groups and national not for profit groups. We are a fun, fast-paced, five doctor small animal veterinary hospital looking for a part-time or full-time veterinarian to add to our clinic team. The ideal candidate is personable, flexible, and displays a positive attitude for helping our patients, our clients, and fellow coworkers each day. We are looking for a veterinarian who is caring, compassionate, and responsible with a passion for providing excellence in medicine, surgery, and preventative care. We learn daily from our patients, our clients and each other - we want a team member who is continually willing to learn and strive to improve. We would love to hire a confident self-starter with experience but are willing to help cultivate and train the right new graduate. Our privately owned well-established clinic continues to grow - which helps to ensure the doctors have a varied caseload and are able to practice high quality diagnostics and treatments. Our busy days balance appointments every 30 minutes alongside drop-off services, surgeries, dentals, and other procedures. Support staff include 8 registered veterinary technicians and 6 veterinary assistants along with a well-trained reception team, kennel team and 4 groomers.

Interesting aspects of our clinic:

We have electronic medical records and utilize Cornerstone software; we have IDEXX in-house laboratory equipment, computerized radiology, dental radiology, ultrasound, cryoprobe, tonopen, cold therapy laser, CO2 laser, and advanced patient monitoring. We have multiple emergency and specialty clinics for referrals and after-hours emergency needs. We work alongside the city of Liberty Animal Control Officers in providing care for our new Liberty Animal Shelter. Our clinic is licensed by the Department of Agriculture to provide rehabilitation care to orphaned and injured wildlife. We work closely with Lakeside Nature Center for wild animal rehabilitation and release. We have a medium-sized boarding and grooming facility and a well-established daycare program. We offer competitive compensation package which includes base salary (based on experience) with production bonus quarterly. Pay:

$120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
