About the Role This is a true mixed animal position offering a diverse caseload and the opportunity to practice a wide variety of medicine.
Typical responsibilities include:
Wellness and preventative care Diagnostics and treatment planning Soft tissue surgery Emergency and urgent care cases Client education and communication Farm calls and large animal appointments (for mixed animal veterinarians) The practice maintains a steady but manageable pace while emphasizing quality medicine and ensuring team members have adequate support throughout the day.

2% Facility & Equipment The hospital is equipped with modern diagnostic and treatment tools, including: In-house laboratory equipment Digital radiography Companion animal and large animal ultrasound Tonometry equipment Dedicated surgery and recovery areas Isolation facilities Multiple exam rooms Separate canine and feline boarding areas The facility is designed to support efficient workflows while providing a comfortable environment for both patients and staff. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will possess: Strong Clinical Skills Ability to diagnose, treat, and provide preventative care for a variety of patients while maintaining a high standard of medicine. Surgical Interest Comfort performing routine soft tissue surgeries or a strong desire to continue developing surgical skills through mentorship and experience. Compassionate Communication A genuine commitment to building relationships with clients through education, empathy, and trust. Adaptability Confidence handling a wide range of cases, from routine wellness visits to urgent medical situations.
