About Us We are a small companion animal Veterinarian practice located in beautiful Livingston, MT, the gateway to Yellowstone National Park! We are passionate about the care we provide and are excited to be celebrating our 10th year serving Livingston in 2026. We are a 3-veterinarian practice and due to growth are looking to add a part-time veterinarian to our team. Does This Sound Like it Would Fit You? We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Small Animal Veterinarian to join our team as a part-time Veterinarian. This role is dedicated to companion animal medicine, with opportunities to grow professionally in a supportive and well-equipped clinic. This role would be ideal for semi-retired Veterinarians or a seasoned Veterinarian who may be at a stage in life when working 2-3 days per week fits their lifestyle and income needs! Friday availability a must. Responsibilities Conduct thorough examinations of animals to diagnose health issues Develop treatment plans and administer vaccinations, medications, and treatments May or May not perform surgical procedures as necessary, ensuring the highest standards of care Provide emergency care and critical support for injured or ill animals Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient Educate pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and preventive health measures Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient clinic operations Stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine and participate in continuing education Skills Proficient in animal restraint techniques for safe handling during examinations Extensive veterinary experience with a focus on various species Familiarity with veterinary terminology for effective communication within the field Knowledge of animal physiology and anatomy to inform diagnosis and treatment decisions Experience with aseptic techniques in surgical settings to prevent infection Laboratory experience for conducting diagnostic tests and interpreting results Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) from an accredited program Licensed or eligible for licensure in Montana Strong medical, surgical, and communication skills Compassionate, team-oriented, and client-focused Previous experience in small animal practice preferred New grads looking to establish themselves in the community are welcome to apply!
