Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Part-time Rehabilitation Veterinarian to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in veterinary medicine with specialized knowledge in animal rehabilitation, physiotherapy, and critical care. In this role, you will deliver high-quality rehabilitative services, support recovery processes, and collaborate with our veterinary team to enhance patient outcomes through advanced therapeutic techniques. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of animals requiring rehabilitation therapy, including evaluating mobility, pain levels, and overall health status. Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans utilizing modalities such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and electrotherapy. Administer treatments with proper animal restraint and aseptic techniques to ensure safety and efficacy. Monitor progress and adjust therapy protocols based on clinical response and recovery milestones. Collaborate closely with veterinarians to integrate rehabilitation strategies into overall patient care plans. Maintain detailed records of treatments administered, patient progress, and clinical observations following veterinary ethical guidelines. Educate pet owners on at-home care routines to support ongoing rehabilitation outside the clinic setting. Experience Candidates should have prior veterinary experience with a focus on animal rehabilitation or physiotherapy. Knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, physiology, cardiology, oncology, internal medicine, emergency medicine, surgery, critical & intensive care is essential. Experience with general anesthesia, animal handling—including dog handling—and laboratory procedures is highly desirable. Familiarity with pet grooming, animal catheterization, laboratory work, equine experience (if applicable), and pet care best practices will be considered advantageous. A background in veterinary critical care experience and clinical ethical guidelines will support success in this role.
