Associate Veterinarian

Introduction Our client is a hospital hiring an Associate Veterinarian to join a well-established, growing practice providing care to dogs and cats. The hospital is seeking a veterinarian who enjoys practicing high-quality, progressive medicine within a supportive and collaborative team environment. The position offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time options available. Role Description and Responsibilities The role includes a variety of clinical responsibilities such as performing surgery, conducting wellness exams, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, vaccinating against diseases, operating diagnostic equipment including X-ray machines, and prescribing medication. Additional duties include advising pet owners on general care and treatment plans, as well as collaborating closely with team members to deliver high-quality care. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates and offers strong opportunities to develop and utilize surgical skills. Practice Details Our client is a well-established and growing hospital with an existing client base and strong demand for services. The practice is equipped with advanced diagnostics and modern medical tools, supporting a high standard of individualized patient care. Services offered include wellness care, dental care, surgical services, diagnostics, end-of-life care, laboratory services, microchipping, and nutrition. The hospital emphasizes a culture of autonomy, allowing veterinarians to practice medicine their way while being supported by a collaborative team. Hospital opening hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 am-6:00 pm, with weekends closed. Team The team consists of 2 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team. The environment is collaborative, supportive, and team-focused, allowing veterinarians to concentrate on delivering excellent patient care.
