Not Available We are recruiting on behalf of a private veterinary practice seeking an experienced Senior Veterinarian to join and help lead a growing, state-of-the-art animal hospital in the Boston area. This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian with strong clinical experience who is looking for long-term growth, leadership responsibility, and the potential to progress into a broader operational leadership role. Responsibilities Examine, diagnose, and treat pets, primarily dogs and cats Provide medical and surgical care within a modern veterinary hospital environment Perform routine procedures, including dental treatments and vaccinations Counsel pet owners on preventative care, wellness, and treatment plans Collaborate with other veterinarians, hospital leadership, and support staff Maintain high standards of patient care, client service, and clinical excellence Support team development and contribute to a positive workplace culture Manage time effectively in a busy, fast-paced practice setting Participate in ongoing education, training, and professional development Requirements Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent from an accredited institution Minimum 5+ years' experience as a veterinarian in a veterinary hospital or private practice setting Eligible to obtain the required state veterinary license Strong clinical, surgical, diagnostic, and communication skills Leadership mindset with the ability to support and grow a veterinary team Passion for excellent patient care and client service Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation package Base salary option with bonus incentives Alternative production-based compensation options may be available Health, dental, and vision insurance FSA or HSA options 401(k) and stock option opportunities Continuing education support, including travel, association dues, licensure, and time off Flexible scheduling options Flexible PTO structure, including CE-related leave and additional floating holidays Relocation assistance available for the right candidate Why Apply?
