A busy, well-established small animal practice located in Genesee County, New York, conveniently situated between Rochester and Buffalo, is seeking a compassionate and motivated Associate Veterinarian to join its collaborative team. The practice serves a rural community while maintaining a high standard of veterinary medicine, with a strong emphasis on efficiency, teamwork, and exceptional patient care. Perform wellness exams, diagnostics, treatment planning, and preventive care. Conduct routine surgical and dental procedures. Collaborate with veterinarians and technical staff to ensure efficient patient care. Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients regarding treatment options. Contribute to maintaining a positive, team-oriented hospital culture. Mentorship & Development New graduates and veterinarians transitioning into small animal practice are supported through a structured 12-month mentorship program designed to build confidence, clinical skills, and long-term career success. Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited university. Active veterinary state license or eligibility to obtain one. DEA license preferred but not required. USDA accreditation preferred but not required. Compensation & Benefits The practice offers a competitive compensation package tailored to experience, schedule, and qualifications, including a salary range of $120,000$140,000 annually.
