We're looking for a skilled, efficient, and mission-driven Surgical Veterinarian to lead and grow our High-Quality, High-Volume Spay/Neuter (HQHVSN) program. This is your chance to combine surgical excellence with purpose-reducing pet overpopulation, increasing access to care, and improving community welfare at scale. You'll spend your days: Performing general surgery and high-quality spay/neuter surgeries in a streamlined, well-supported environment. Working alongside a highly trained team that knows how to keep your flow smooth and efficient Making care accessible for underserved communities Leaving work knowing you helped dozens-not just a handful-of animals every single day What You'll Do Perform high-volume spay/neuter surgeries on canine/feline patients (averaging about 30-40/day) Perform general surgery (
Ex:
enucleation; pyometra; mass removal; cherry eye repair; cystotomy; gastronomy; enterotomy; entropion; gastropexy; etc) Maintain exceptional standards of care, safety, and efficiency Oversee anesthesia and perioperative protocols Mentor and collaborate with veterinary staff and technicians Contribute to program growth and community outreach What You'll Get Predictable schedule Competitive salary Generous PTO + paid holidays CE allowance (including HQHVSN training opportunities) Licensing, DEA, and professional dues covered A mission-driven culture that values your impact and your well-being Who You Are DVM or equivalent, licensed (or eligible) in Ohio Confident in surgery and eager to become highly proficient in HQHVSN techniques if not already familiar. (Paid training in North Carolina with the
ASPCA HQHVSN
program will be required for candidates who have not already completed.)
