Job Description
Veterinary Oncologist Animal Clinic Northview is a full-service veterinary and emergency hospital in the greater Cleveland area known for delivering exceptional, comprehensive, and compassionate animal care. Founded in 1977 , our 34-doctor, 175-staff, AAHA-accredited hospital has earned a reputation for clinical excellence, advanced medicine, and outstanding client service. Our recently expanded 36,000 sq. ft. facility offers state-of-the-art diagnostics and treatment capabilities, including digital radiography, digital ultrasonography, CT with full 3-D reconstruction, endoscopy, laparoscopy, a dedicated surgical suite, in-house laboratory and pharmacy, and a full rehabilitation center featuring an underwater treadmill and therapy pool. Our 24-hour ICU provides continuous monitoring and support for complex cases. We are excited to welcome a Veterinary Oncologist to help us grow and elevate our oncology services for our patients and community. The Ideal Candidate We are seeking an oncologist who is patient-centered, collaborative, and passionate about delivering high-quality cancer care.
Ideal candidates must be:
Compassionate, with a strong commitment to supporting patients and families throughout the cancer journey Residency-trained or board-certified in medical oncology; new residency graduates are welcome Experienced or enthusiastic about administering chemotherapy, targeted therapies, immunotherapies, and palliative care Comfortable developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's medical and family needs Skilled at communicating clearly and empathetically with clients and collaborating with primary care veterinarians Able to manage caseloads efficiently while maintaining the highest standard of medical care A team player who thrives in a multi-doctor, multidisciplinary environment What We Offer We prioritize the wellbeing and success of our staff and offer a competitive, comprehensive benefits package, including: Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance Disability insurance All professional organization dues and licenses covered 401(k) with up to 4% employer match Paid CE with annual allowance Flexible scheduling and generous vacation time A dedicated team of RVTs, pharmacy technicians, and support staff Strong administrative support to help build and grow the oncology service Compensation Competitive salary , plus production-based earning potential Sign-on Bonus Relocation reimbursement available Why Northview?
