Private, Woman-Led Companion Animal Practice Our client is an independently owned, growing practice seeking a full-time Veterinarian who prioritizes thoughtful medicine and collaborative teamwork. This clinic focuses on a "calmer way to practice," emphasizing strong client relationships and a supportive environment rather than the high-stress pace of emergency or walk-in volume.
The Role & Environment Steady Pacing:
Appointment-based schedule with 30-to-45-minute visits , allowing ample time for clinical reasoning and client education.
Scope of Practice:
Rooted in general practice and preventive care with manageable urgent care cases.
Procedural Flexibility:
Surgery and dental procedures are welcome but optional , tailored to your professional interests.
Collaborative Culture:
A team that values shared perspectives, open conversation, and kindness.
Upcoming Growth:
The practice is transitioning to a newly renovated facility within the next 12 months, specifically designed to optimize workflow and patient care.
External Support:
Supported by nearby specialty and emergency referral hospitals within a 10-mile radius. Practice Highlights Privately owned with engaged, accessible leadership. Hybrid model of curbside and in-person appointments. A focus on "knowing when to pause" to work through the best options for patients. Qualifications Education:
VMD or DVM from an accredited institution.
Licensure:
Current Pennsylvania veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain one).
Experience:
All experience levels are welcome; clinical experience is preferred but not required .
