Job Description

A leading suburban urgent care veterinary hospital in Harrisburg is seeking an Urgent Care Veterinarian to join its fast-paced and highly collaborative clinical team. This is a strong opportunity for a veterinarian who enjoys hands-on clinical work, varied urgent cases, and a supportive environment focused on both quality care and professional development. Up to $170,000 | Up to $20,000 Sign-On/Retention Bonus | 12-Hour Urgent Care Model | Harrisburg, Pennsylvania The hospital provides dedicated emergency and urgent care services for small animals, operating daily from 10:00am to 10:00pm, including weekends and holidays. The caseload is primarily walk-in and same-day urgent presentations, offering a dynamic and engaging clinical environment where no two days are the same. The facility is well equipped with in-house laboratory services, digital radiography, and modern diagnostic tools that support efficient decision-making and high-quality patient care. The team culture is strongly collaborative, with clinicians actively involved in case discussions, shared decision-making, and continuous improvement of clinical standards. The working environment is fast-paced but supportive, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, communication, and ongoing skill development. Veterinarians are encouraged to take ownership of cases while working closely with experienced colleagues and support staff.
