Job Description

Paws Animal Hospital, established in 2010, is a small animal practice located in Hanover, PA. We are dedicated to providing quality and compassionate care to pets in a friendly and relaxed environment. At Paws Animal Hospital, we prioritize both the health of pets and the satisfaction of their owners by maintaining a welcoming and professional atmosphere. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Veterinarian located in Hanover, PA. The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care for small animals. Responsibilities include conducting diagnostic exams, creating treatment plans, administering vaccinations, performing surgeries, consulting with pet owners, and collaborating with the veterinary team to provide high-quality care in alignment with the hospital's standards. We have digital x-ray, ultrasound, cold therapy laser, and offer acupuncture to our patients. Compensation a production based pay model, we can tailor to fit your needs. No negative accrual. flexible scheduling employee discount $2000 a year for CE reimbursement cover all license and PLIT membership fees 401K with 3% match Health insurance NO weekend or overnight coverage or responsibilities Qualifications Strong diagnostic and clinical skills, including proficiency in medical, surgical, and dental procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively consult with pet owners and work collaboratively with the veterinary team Capability to make sound medical judgments and offer compassionate, ethical care Organized and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited institution Current veterinary license in good standing in the State of Pennsylvania or ability to obtain one Basic computer literacy and familiarity with veterinary practice management software, we use Cornerstone Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with advancements in veterinary medicine Located in Hanover, Pennsylvania on a 10 acre farmette with a beautiful view.
