Job Description
Job Summary Little Paws Animal Clinic is a dedicated small-animal veterinary practice commited to providing compasstionate, high-quality medical care for the pets in our community. Our team takes pride in delivering personalized attention, clear communication, and a welcoming environment for every patient and pet parent who walks through our doors. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Associate Veterinarian specializing in small animals to join our dynamic veterinary team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive veterinary services to our patients, including preventative wellness care, vaccinations, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and client education. Your expertise will help foster an environment where pet owners feel confident in the care their animals receive. Perform routine and emergency veterinary procedures including surgeries and dental prophylaxis. Order and interpret diagnostic results to aid in accurate diagnosis and treatment. Educate pet owners on animal care, vaccination protocols, and preventive health measures. Prescribe medication and other treatments necessary for patient care. Support critical care cases by applying veterinary critical care experience to stabilize and treat severely ill or injured animals. Maintain detailed medical records, follow veterinary protocols, and communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless patient care. Requirements Veterinary degree from an accredited institution with valid licensure to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Pennsylvania. Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for client education and team collaboration. While experience is valued, we also welcome motivated recent graduates who are eager to learn.
