Are you tired of staying late and working through lunch? Five Points Animal Clinic is seeking a skilled and motivated Veterinarian to join our friendly and supportive team. We are offering the flexible opportunity of working part time or full time. About Us Five Points Animal Clinic is located in the heart of Columbia in the fun and eclectic Five Points district. We have been rooted in the community for almost 100 years, serving generations of families. Our mission is a commitment to provide exceptional veterinary care in a welcoming and collaborative environment. Our facility is equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment technology, allowing our team to deliver the highest standard of medical, surgical, and preventive care. About Our Community Columbia is ideally located a few hours from wonderful beaches and mountains. Columbia is home to an award winning zoo, wonderful parks, recently renovated Riverwalk, and a vibrant cultural scene. Outdoor activities abound with fishing, boating, and hiking within the surrounding area. Low cost of living and great schools make Columbia a great place to call home. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive examinations, diagnoses, and treatments for companion animals. Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Perform routine surgical procedures. Educate pet owners on preventive healthcare, nutrition, and treatment options. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records. No paper charts to clog up workflow. Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure excellent patient care. Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) degree. Current veterinary license or eligibility for licensure in South Carolina Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
