Lead Critical Cases:
Take charge of triaging, diagnosing, and treating urgent and complex emergency cases, often serving as the primary clinician for the most critical patients.

Requirements Requirements:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited institution. Eligible to sit for board certification in Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care (DACVECC) Licensure to practice veterinary medicine in South Carolina (or eligibility for licensure). Demonstrated exceptional clinical skills in emergency medicine and critical care. Outstanding diagnostic and problem-solving abilities in complex and high-pressure situations. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with clients, referring veterinarians, and colleagues. A strong commitment to providing the highest quality and most timely patient care. Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as a leader within a fast-paced, collaborative team. Proficiency in maintaining meticulous and accurate medical records. Exceptional ability to handle highly stressful situations with composure, leadership, and efficiency. Preferred (considered a plus): Board Certification in Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care (DACVECC). Experience in a leadership or mentorship role within an emergency and critical care department. Proficiency in a wide range of advanced critical care procedures and techniques. Experience with electronic medical record systems. A strong interest in contributing to clinical research and the advancement of veterinary critical care.
