Located in beautiful Maryville TN, Fairview Veterinary Hospital is a full-service veterinary practice that provides comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care to our community and the surrounding area. In addition to routine wellness care for small animals, we also offer many advanced services such as digital radiography, ultrasound, laser therapy, and more.
Position Purpose:
Fairview Veterinary Hospital in Maryville TN is ready to welcome another veterinarian to the team! Whether your passion is general small-animal medicine or you love soft tissue surgery or dentistry, our well-trained support staff is ready to assist you. Our clientele will be receptive to your treatment plans because they want the best care for their pets. An experienced doctor will thrive in our practice, especially if you like surgery and/or dentistry!

Located just outside Knoxville, Maryville TN is a good place to live, offering a pleasant small-town atmosphere with easy access to the Smoky Mountains, a reasonable cost of living, and excellent public schools. It provides a blend of small-town charm with modern conveniences.
Essential Responsibilities:
Examine and treat companion animals to detect and determine the nature of disease or injuries. Operate diagnostic equipment and collect diagnostic samples as well as interpret results. Advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options. Perform surgery and prescribe medication as needed. Provide counsel around pet end of life care. Maintain patients' medical records. Ensures compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statues, policies, and procedures.
Requirements/Qualifications:
DVM/VMD degree from an accredited AVMA institution. Appropriate state licensure. Eligibility to obtain
DEA/BNDD.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrates professional and courteous presentation consistently with staff and clients. Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds; ability to lift patients or carry equipment over 25 pounds with assistance.

Pay Range:
USD $110,000.00 - USD $125,000.00 /Yr.
