  • Full-time Overview Tri-County Animal Clinic of Carroll County has been serving the McKenzie and surrounding areas since 2002.
We are a mixed practice with an established clientele. The practice is looking to add another Full-Time Veterinarian to our team. We place high value on integrity and seek someone who is able to deliver exceptional service to our employees, clients and their pets with a friendly, compassionate and positive presence. An ideal candidate would have great people skills and a passion for both internal medicine and surgery. Responsibilities Conduct thorough examinations and diagnose medical conditions in a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, and equines. Perform surgical procedures, including animal restraint, catheterization, and aseptic techniques to ensure safe and effective treatment. Administer vaccinations, medications, and treatments based on veterinary best practices. Provide emergency care to injured or sick animals. Advise pet owners on proper nutrition, exercise, and preventive health care. Utilize veterinary terminology accurately to communicate findings and treatment plans clearly with pet owners and team members. Maintain detailed medical records, including laboratory results, animal physiology assessments, and treatment documentation. Qualifications Proven veterinary experience with a strong background in animal care and medical procedures. Critical care experience in veterinary settings is highly desirable. Knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and veterinary terminology essential for accurate diagnosis and treatment. Skilled in animal restraint, handling, and pet grooming techniques to ensure safe interactions. Laboratory experience beneficial for diagnostic testing and analysis. Equine experience preferred for those interested in large animal care roles. Ability to apply aseptic techniques during surgical or invasive procedures. Strong communication skills to explain complex medical information clearly to pet owners.
