$170,000•$250,000 per year Job Details•
Responsibilities:
1. Overseeing all aspects of the veterinary clinic, including medical operations, staff management, and financial performance. 2. Providing high-quality medical care to a variety of animals, including diagnosing diseases, performing surgeries, and administering vaccinations. 3. Building and maintaining relationships with clients, ensuring their pets receive the best possible care and they are satisfied with our services. 4. Training and mentoring veterinary staff to ensure they are up-to-date with the latest medical practices and procedures. 5. Ensuring the clinic complies with all relevant laws and regulations, maintaining the highest standards of animal care and welfare. 6. Developing and implementing strategies to grow the business, including marketing initiatives and client retention strategies. 7. Handling administrative tasks such as record-keeping, budgeting, and inventory management.
Qualifications:
1. Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution. 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing veterinarian, with experience in a leadership or ownership role highly preferred. 3. Excellent diagnostic and surgical skills. 4. Strong business acumen with experience in managing a veterinary clinic or similar business. 5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and staff. 6. A deep passion for animal care and welfare, with a commitment to delivering the highest standards of care. 7. Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively. 8. Proficiency in using veterinary software and technology. 9. Current licensure in good standing to practice veterinary medicine.
