Job Description

Job Overview LocalVet Urgent Care is excited to be adding to our growing clinic! We're looking for a veterinarian to join our new, privately owned , veterinary urgent care clinic! We are seeking someone interested in working 1 - 2 days per week (with the opportunity for a full time position and benefits in the future). Since we support the community with emergency surgical services, we do encourage doctors to be open to performing surgery.
Surgical mentorship available Expected hours:
8 - 30 per week Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive examinations and diagnose urgent health issues in animals Perform a range of common emergency surgical procedures, including gastrointestinal foreign body removal, GDV correction, pyometra, and splenectomies. Maintain detailed medical records, laboratory logs, and treatment documentation adhering to veterinary standards. 9402 Hwy 6 , Missouri City, TX 77459 DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program) Hold all active required licenses to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Texas Maintain active malpractice insurance
Pay:
$100.00 - $200,000.00 per year
