Job Description

Associate Veterinarian Atlas Consultancy Group Salt Lake City, UT Job Details Full-time $140,000 - $160,000 a year 7 days ago Benefits Continuing education credits Paid parental leave Disability insurance Relocation assistance Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Parental leave Vision insurance 401(k) matching Flexible schedule Life insurance Qualifications Patient monitoring General dentistry Medical-surgical Case management Veterinary Medicine Full Job Description Established six-doctor small animal practice in Cottonwood Heights seeking an Associate Veterinarian interested in relationship-based medicine, a steady appointment-driven schedule, experienced technician support, and the ability to work up medical and surgical cases thoroughly without constant referral pressure.
Job Description:
This is a first-opinion small animal clinic in Cottonwood Heights with an appointment book built almost entirely on returning clients and word of mouth. The practice has been in the community long enough that most people coming through the door already know the team. It is not an urgent care model, though the clinic handles urgent cases when they come up. The day runs on a set schedule and generally holds to it. The caseload covers the full range of general practice: wellness and prevention, chronic disease management, dermatology, dentistry, advanced diagnostics, and both routine and more involved soft tissue surgery. The hospital has invested in modern equipment and in-house diagnostics, so cases can be worked up properly before deciding on a plan. Internal specialist access is available when something needs a second opinion, which means referrals are not the automatic next step for every complex presentation. The team is six DVMs led by a medical director with over 25 years of experience across small and large animal medicine, surgery, and animal health leadership. The RVT team is experienced and handles anesthesia, monitoring, and patient prep, so you are not being pulled away from clinical work to manage the floor.
Key Highlights:
Established small animal practice with consistent appointment flow Structured schedule with time for diagnostics and client communication Mix of wellness, chronic disease, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery Access to internal specialist input for more complex cases Experienced technician team supporting anesthesia and workflow Strong local reputation reflected in client reviews and retention Backing of a larger network without day-to-day interference Ongoing CE tied to clinical development rather than theory Early drop-off system to help manage surgical and inpatient flow About You DVM or equivalent qualification Licensed or eligible to practice in the state Comfortable with routine surgery and medical case management Communicates clearly with clients without overcomplicating things Works independently but knows when to ask for input Interested in improving clinical skills over time Benefits Base salary with monthly production bonus and no negative accrual Health, dental, and vision insurance 401k with company match CE allowance with paid days for attendance Paid parental leave Short and long-term disability cover Professional liability insurance provided Access to TeleDoc services
