For over 50 years, we have been a cornerstone of animal welfare in our community, and with the opening of the Louise R. Lester Spay/Neuter Clinic in the Fall of 2021, our impact has grown even stronger. We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate Veterinarian to help lead that mission by providing veterinary care to shelter animals as well as running our spay/neuter clinic. From surgery to wellness care to making compassionate end-of-life decisions, your work will have an immediate and meaningful impact. You will be supported by a collaborative team and equipped with many updated medical resources, including digital radiograph, dental radiograph, human-grade ultrasound, blood analyzer machines, and a fully outfitted dental cart. These tools allow you to provide high-quality care every day to animals in need. We are looking for someone ready to step into a role where they are truly needed, someone who understands that access to veterinary care can change the course of an animal's and a human's life. Additional benefits include a primarily Monday through Thursday schedule with some Saturdays, 15 days of PTO (not including the 6 major holidays), and an allowance for health insurance, licensing fees, and other professional expenses. The need is real, and the impact is immediate. If you are ready to make a difference where it matters most, we encourage you to apply.
