• Part-time, Full-time Associate Veterinarian Avian and Exotic Pet Clinic of Roanoke The Avian and Exotic Pet Clinic of Roanoke is looking for a full-time or part-time associate to join our established practice.

We provide high quality medicine and surgery for companion small mammals, birds and reptiles. Our clinic offers dentistry, digital radiology, in-house laboratory, ultrasound, endoscopy and radiosurgery. Applicant should be passionate about avian medicine and surgery while being competent in common aspects of exotic pet practice. Applicants who have completed an internship post-graduation will also be considered. We seek someone who has fabulous communication skills (including comfortable speaking with and educating clientele and staff), a positive attitude and is self-motivated. Our clinic provides limited emergency service and this position will require occasional zoo coverage, after hour emergency and after hour patient care. Due to the nature of the services provided for our in-hospital patients, limited emergency services and zoo coverage, relocation to the Roanoke area is essential. Compensation is commensurate with experience. Along with base salary the opportunity for Pro-Sal & Emergency After Hour production is available including a generous benefit package. Tuition Assistance may be available for Full-time associates only.
