Veterinarian (Full-Time or Part-Time) Help pets pass peacefully at home. Support families through one of life's most meaningful moments. Lap of Love is seeking compassionate veterinarians to join our growing team. Our doctors provide in-home hospice and euthanasia services, helping pets remain comfortable and surrounded by loved ones while guiding families through end-of-life decisions with empathy and professionalism. Meaningful, relationship-centered veterinary medicine Intentional scheduling with an average of 3-4 unrushed appointments per day Flexible full-time and part-time opportunities Supportive and collaborative team culture Independence and autonomy in your daily practice The opportunity to make a lasting impact on pets and families A company dedicated to helping veterinarians live their best lives Key Responsibilities Provide in-home hospice consultations and euthanasia services for geriatric and terminally ill pets Compassionately guide families through end-of-life decisions Typically perform up to six appointments per day Maintain accurate medical records and appointment documentation Safely handle and maintain DEA-regulated medications Assist with aftercare arrangements and transportation of pets Our Core Values Truly Love Humanity Lead with empathy, humility, and kindness. DVM, VMD, BVM&S, or equivalent veterinary degree Active veterinary license and DEA registration (or ability to obtain) Any level of experience welcome Strong communication, interpersonal, and client service skills Ability to work independently while delivering compassionate, high-quality care Ability to safely handle and maintain DEA-regulated medications Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds independently Reliable personal vehicle and willingness to travel throughout the designated service area Ability to provide services in a variety of home environments Compassionate, adaptable, and self-motivated approach to patient care Join a team that is redefining end-of-life veterinary medicine through meaningful connections, compassionate care, and a culture that prioritizes well-being.
