P atient care E ngagement A ccountability K nowledge Growth Timberline Veterinary Emergency and Specialty (TVES) is a locally owned 24-hr emergency and specialty hospital located in Seattle, WA. founded by Dr. Beth Davidow (DACVECC), Dr. Laura Ahlgrim and Dr. Chris Bailey in 2023. We are committed to continuous improvement in the veterinary care that we provide our community, as well as finding ways to make veterinary medicine sustainable for our team. We have an amazing team of talented staff, incredible staff retention, and are looking to expand our specialty team and add a second surgeon. We currently have Critical Care, Surgery, Medical Oncology, Internal Medicine with local support for histopathology, radiology/ultrasound, and cardiology. We occupy a 21,000 sq/ft single story building and have a new Toshiba 128-slice CT scan. We have both a dedicated soft tissue and orthopedic surgery suites, and amazing technicians with excellent anesthesia skills ready to staff an efficient and busy surgery service. Our ER team is also composed of all cutting ER doctors, which means our surgeon will have minimal on-call responsibilities. Second Internal Medicine Specialist wanted at Timberline Who we are looking for: We are looking for an Internal Medicine Specialist who wants to expand and grow our Internal Medicine service at TVES. This role involves participating in hospital rounds, managing a combination of both inpatients and outpatients with complex medical problems, and working collaboratively with our referring veterinarians and the TVES team to provide exceptional veterinary medicine. The ideal candidate would be excited to be involved in the selection of the IM team and help further establish the service within our hospital. We are looking for an individual who loves to learn and is constantly challenging and changing practices based on new evidence. With additional specialty support, we hope to expand our ability to perform clinical trials at our facility, further train and support our VTS aspiring LVTs, and continuously improve on our in-hospital protocols . Come work for the only locally owned, non-corporate emergency veterinary hospital in Seattle The compensation for this role is a combination of a base salary $225,000 + service production No negative accrual and no non-compete contracts Work in a hospital that implements profit sharing with the staff to improve retention and engagement ‌ 401K w/ company match Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance •We pay 100% of our individual basic health insurance premiums for employees •Paid time off: Time off accrues at 0.06 hours per scheduled hour worked up to 40 hours per week. This is approximately 3.5 weeks of true paid time away from the hospital each year. $3000 per year and an additional 4 days of PTO for continuing education. This money and time can be used for seminars, journals, books, or medical equipment and can be carried over for one year.
