We are seeking an experienced FT Urgent Care DVM Advisor to lead the current team in our new facility opening in May 2026. Previous management experience is a plus but not required. Who are we? We are a veterinarian- owned company and have proudly served the community for 55 years. We provide the opportunity to collaborate with and learn from a group of 18 other DVMs, including our on-staff Internal Medicine Specialist. Our aim is to excel in patient care, client service, and to provide a comfortable and fun work environment while maintaining work/ life balance. Scope of Practice Our practice environment includes all the usual high-tech necessities (Ultrasound, Endoscopy, Laser Surgery, Laparoscopy, Cold Laser, Dentistry, Endodontics, Digital Imaging) and offers weekly visits from mobile specialists in Ultrasound, Cardiology, and Surgery. Our overnight technician provides supportive care for our surgical and hospitalized patients. SVA support staff is highly leveraged and we have a commitment to the personal and professional growth of all staff members. We foster opportunities for professional development of interest, and encourage long-term employment with our family of practices; we have several LVTs with 30+ years with the company. Benefits:
The position offers an excellent compensation and benefits package (worth $25-30K). Full time benefits are offered at 12 days/ 4-week rotation (average 3 days/ week) and include a generous medical/ vision/ dental plan, 3 weeks paid time off plus paid holidays, retirement plan (401K) with company match, CE allowance and paid CE days, life insurance, generous pet care, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and an ORCA Card benefit to encourage public transportation use. In an effort to encourage mental wellness in our community we recently added a benefit to assist employees in working with a Veterinary Social Worker. Compensation is based on production and the number of shifts worked; however, a base salary will be offered for the first year.
